Learning Objectives

IESOL Level 3 – Listening (C2)

• Understand spoken language in a variety of complex, extended texts, including abstract, technical, or academic content.
• Identify the speaker’s purpose, attitude, and implied meanings in both formal and informal settings.
• Comprehend various English accents and speech patterns in real-time communication.

IESOL Level 3 – Reading (C2)

• Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts and recognise implicit meaning, tone, and intention.
• Interpret information and arguments from different types of texts, including academic articles, professional reports, and literary works.
• Critically evaluate content, structure, and arguments in written material.
• Identify fine nuances of meaning and adapt reading strategies accordingly.
